Light but persistent drizzle 'greeted' us at the gates of YCFC
I chilled out to the strains of Echo and the Bunnymen en route to York.
However the journey home, already grim enough because of the thick fog that had descended over the A1, got even worse when my 'moving buddy' insisted on listening to a Barry Manilow radio documentary called 'I Write The Songs' all the way to Retford ... my Judy Garland tolerance threshold isn't very high at the best of times.
It was like having my teeth drilled sans anaesthetic.
I'm traumatised as I write this overview of events.
It might only have taken me approx. one hour to reach chez 66pow, but it seemed like *A LOT* longer.
I should've have left her in York!
