I’ve had a good chuckle to myself over the past few days, while reading and listening to some of the blogging and vlogging coverage of the Addicks 1-1 draw at Pride Park against Derby County on Tuesday night.
The general tone of several ‘commentators’ implies that the ‘mighty’ Rams would have been hugely disappointed and possibly even embarrassed to have been held to a draw at home, by ‘little old’ Charlton.
For the record: Nathan Jones’ side actually started the night fourteen places and five points ahead of their ‘massive’ hosts. There are no giants, or minnows, in this division, just twenty-four ‘Championship sized’ clubs. So let's be having less of the disrespectful and factually inaccurate ‘bijou’ digs in future you lot.
