Neither side could have given any more as they went toe to toe for 120 minutes, plus an extraordinary amount of stoppage time at the end of the 90.
In the Mansfield Town's ten men walking wounded, showed that they had what it takes to force the issue in extra time... and showed a lot of character and a massive amount of resilience to overcome a very lively Dereham Town side.
Fair play to the visitors too, who had overcome Peterborough United at home in the previous round, in front of a crowd of 199. They played very well tonight and weren't just here to make up the numbers.
