A vital win for Arnold, that lifted them off the bottom of the table and saw them leapfrog over Teversal in the table to move up into 6th place in a 10 team First Division.
Things started well for Teversal and they were rewarded for an lively opening spell, when Craig Newton put them ahead with a penalty kick after twenty minutes.
But their joy was short lived, because John King (or King John as he was called on the team sheet) had grabbed an equaliser for the home side with five minutes.
Disaster struck for the Tevie keeper Tom Johnson just after the half hour mark, when he came off his line to deal with a harmless looking ball into the box. Under pressure from Tom Shelbourn, he made a mess of what should've been a simple catch and Tom Lees Collier was on hand to knock the ball over the line and into the back of the net as a couple of Teversal defenders made a desperate attempt to make amends for Johnson's clanger.
But Johnson atoned for his slip before the break, with a point blank save from Marcus Fletcher to his right and Joe Brothwell to his left a minute late. Brothwell hit the post off the rebound to the latter.
HT - Eagles 2 v Tevie 1
Right at the start of the second half, Tom Johnson kept Arnold out again, with a great block after Joe Brothwell had put Marcus Fletcher in on goal with a defence splitting pass.
On 56 minutes it looked as though the visitors had weathered a bit of a storm, when a cool turn and shot from Max Curzon put them back on level terms.
It looked to all intents and purposes as though Curzon was on the verge of putting Tevie ahead, when he took a great through ball in stride, burst into the box, beat Tom Dudley all ends up and fired wide of the left hand upright. It was a real let off for Arnold, who were stung into life and made a few alterations.
Corbi Brown, on as a sub for the home side, turned home a right wing cross on 73 minutes with his first touch of the game on 73 minutes.
And Tevie were reeling shortly afterwards, when Tom Lees Collier scored directly from a 25 yard free kick.

The deftly taken free kick, knocked the stuffing out of Teversal  and in the closing stages of the game Arnold came close to extending their winning margin twice, when Tom Lees Collier was the thickness of the paint on the right hand post away from claiming his hat trick and within 30 seconds Corbi Brown fired narrowly wide of the target.
A night that had started so promisingly for Teversal, ended in defeat.
4-2 was just about a fair result in the end.
